Vidnology (https://vid.dealnology.com) respects the intellectual property rights of content creators, artists, musicians, and brands worldwide, and we expect all users of our technical utility to do the same. This page outlines our compliance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and our rapid URL-exclusion procedure for copyright owners.

Zero-Hosting Technical Statement: Vidnology does NOT host, store, save, or archive any video, photo, or audio files on its servers. Because no media files reside on our servers, we cannot delete files from Instagram itself—however, we maintain an instant URL & Creator Exclusion Blocklist to prevent specific posts or creator profiles from being resolved through our tool.

1. How Our Technical Resolver Works

Unlike file-hosting websites or video-sharing platforms, Vidnology does not maintain a database of downloadable media. When a user inputs a publicly accessible Instagram link, our script acts as a transient technical conduit that queries the public metadata of that link and returns the temporary origin CDN address hosted by Instagram (`cdninstagram.com`). Once the user's browser receives the response, no copy or cache remains on our server.

2. Requesting Creator Profile or URL Blocking (DMCA Notice)

If you are a copyright owner, creator, or authorized legal representative and you do not want your public Instagram posts, Reels, or profile URLs to be resolvable through Vidnology, we will gladly add your Instagram `@username` or specific post URLs to our permanent technical blocklist free of charge.

To submit a formal DMCA Exclusion / Block Request, please send an email to support@dealnology.com containing the following information:

  1. Identification of the Copyrighted Work: Provide the exact Instagram post/Reel URL(s) or your official Instagram `@username` handle that you wish to block from our resolver.
  2. Contact Information: Your full legal name, organization (if applicable), email address, and telephone number.
  3. Good Faith Statement: A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  4. Accuracy & Authority Statement: A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
  5. Physical or Electronic Signature: Your typed full legal name serving as your electronic signature.

3. 24-Hour Response Commitment

Upon receipt of a valid request at support@dealnology.com, our compliance team will add the specified shortcode(s) or creator username to our server-level exclusion filter within 24 hours, ensuring that any attempt to paste those links on https://vid.dealnology.com is automatically rejected.
